Main comparisons (6)
EmailOctopus vs Brevo
These two price on opposite axes, and that is the whole comparison. EmailOctopus charges for subscribers stored and lets you mail them ten times a month; Brevo charges for emails sent and does not care how many contacts you hold.

GetResponse vs AWeber
Two long-established providers with genuinely different propositions. GetResponse bundles things AWeber does not sell at all (webinars, a website builder, course hosting, conversion funnels) and does not cap sending on any paid plan.

MailerLite vs EmailOctopus
EmailOctopus is cheaper, MailerLite does more, and for once that trade is clean enough to give a straightforward answer. If your requirement is genuinely "send a newsletter to my list", EmailOctopus wins: it is free up to 2,500 subscribers and cheaper than MailerLite at every paid band we checked, its free tier carries ten times MailerLite free, and it is UK-based, which simplifies invoicing for UK buyers.

MailerLite vs Moosend
These two are closer than their marketing suggests. On our latest check Moosend was slightly cheaper than MailerLite at every paid band from 500 to 50,000 subscribers, and it does not cap sending on any paid plan, where MailerLite Comfort allows ten sends per subscriber.

MailerLite vs Sender
Sender wins on the free tier and on price; MailerLite wins on everything else. Sender Free carries 2,500 subscribers and 15,000 emails a month with automation included, against MailerLite Free at 250 subscribers and 2,500 emails, a tenfold difference that decides the matter for anyone starting out.

Omnisend vs MailerLite
This one is decided by whether you sell physical products. Omnisend is built for stores and very little else: cart and browse abandonment, product pickers pulling live catalogue data, purchase-triggered flows, and SMS on the same canvas as email, with the most complete Shopify integration in this comparison.

ActiveCampaign vs Moosend
A genuine mismatch in both directions, which makes it a useful comparison. ActiveCampaign has the deepest automation available at this price point (unlimited branching, lead scoring, split-path testing of whole workflows, and a real sales CRM) and costs two to five times what Moosend does at the same contact band, while capping sends where Moosend does not.

Kit vs EmailOctopus
Both are aimed at people who write to an audience, and they diverge on how much of the business you want to run inside the tool. Kit sells to creators who monetise: native paid newsletters, digital product sales, a tag-based subscriber model and one of the best automation builders here, with a free tier up to 10,000 subscribers.

Moosend vs GetResponse
Both remove the send cap, which puts them in a small group, so the comparison comes down to breadth against price. GetResponse bundles webinars, courses, funnels and a website builder that Moosend does not attempt, and its automation is deeper once you are past the single-workflow Starter tier.

Omnisend vs Drip
Two ecommerce-native platforms separated by how much work you want to do yourself. Omnisend gives you prebuilt store flows that work immediately against a connected Shopify or WooCommerce store, the broadest platform coverage here, SMS on the same canvas, and a free tier to start on.

Why we do not compare everything against everything
A generated matrix of comparison pages is the standard growth tactic in this niche, and it is why so many of these pages say nothing. The content is a feature table with the provider names swapped, the verdict is whichever one pays more, and nobody maintains the prices because there are sixty-six pages to maintain.
We publish a comparison when there is something specific to say about that pairing. Ten pages exist because ten pairings met that test: six because UK search data suggested people are genuinely looking for them, four because they come up as alternatives to the first six.
If the pairing you want is missing, the calculator compares all twelve at once on the numbers that actually decide it.
